Here we are my final appearance at the Virtual "Cannes Film Festival" for me 2011, already my 6th run down the red catwalk and I'm pretty exhausted, looking pretty is a full time job! But who am I talking to, most of you can relay to this feeling, right? It's the big jewelry Party where the rich and famous show off what they have and looking at new gems where they can spent a fortune on. Of course tonight jewelry is the most important thing. It's an unwritten Rule to wear jewelry of the jeweler who invited to the party, so let's just say Alienbear's Designs send out this invitation ;)

Bohemian Like you - Summer 2011 - Côte d'Azur

Day three Movie premiere, #3 look for my virtual "Cannes Film festival" 2011 and I dare to go Bohemian, but as you can see in the most elegant way possible. I simply adore this dress, seems to be casual, yet so sexy and glamorous assuming the fabric is meant to be 100% silk in several layers. The top front "display cleavage" almost pulls another "J.Lo in Versace " moment although I like the low neckline of my very own Baiastice Horai dress more. This dress is probably the most beautiful of this whole spring summer collection Sissy Pessoa has created.

I'll have my martini just as my dear James at the party of day two of my virtual "Cannes Film Festival week" 2011. Tonight I'm dressed to kill wearing a mix and match of Baiastice Jacklin Top and skirt, becoming the lady in red when deep orange/ bronze (top) fades into sizzling pink (skirt), garnished with the to die for heels by Maitreya in Animal/ red.

Back to a classic summer elegance for day 2 of my red carpet Movie premiere "virtual "Cannes Film Festival" week, which I decided to celebrate as an homage to the real one and so I have an excuse to get all dressed up for once. Bows are really back in business, oversized and draped on the hip it gives this phenomenal dress an old Hollywood charm. It's greatest charm though is it's amazing texture which results out of two layers on top of each other, one transparent shimmering tulle, the second underneath supposedly a mixture of cotton and silk.

Time to party, and I found just the right look to get my freak on. As I already posted yesterday I'm having my very own "Cannes Film festival week". First look was the Prelude of the festival, Movie premiere in the afternoon. Next stop it's evening dinner and party time now.
I got me the latest design of MichMi tattooed on my body. Those type of "snakeskin" dresses are very popular right now. They are super sexy, but there is a price to pay: working out 2 hours per day and no sugar 3 months before you want to wear it LOL. Thankfully in SL we do not have this kind of problems ;) But honestly this dress is hot, hot, hot.

The place to be - Summer 2011- Côte d'Azur

 

If you are up to date with the route of the celebrity circus then you know for the past few weeks the who is who lingered at no other place then the Côte d'Azur, first in Cannes for the Film festival (yeah they also show movies there, not just partying celebs) later Monte Carlo on the weekend when the Formula 1 races the grand prize of Monaco.
You can truly say begin mid May till end this must be the most beautiful place even if you don't get to see the wonderful Port and beach outside the Palais du Festival ;)
After weeks of seeing celebrities in their most fabulous attire, smiling in the cameras of every paparazzi and TV channel there is to find on this planet, I'm fed up by just looking at them strutting their heels over that red carpet. It's time to get dolled up myself. Sigh, I can't even remember when the last time was that I did that. Since SL is the right place to be anything any anyone we want and at least I'm the star of this blog, there is no reason why I shouldn't have my own personal red carpet event inspired by the Real deal...and I want to invite you to join me if you like :D

Summer Affair 2

Here is the 2nd outfit which was actually the 1st I have done. Featured Designer Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice. Truly fell in love with the colors of this dress. Not only because it goes with my favorite color of the Bax Ankle Boots Metallic Blue, indigo.
Btw if you hate that your AO sometimes makes the dress look weird, Sissy Pessoa added an AO which is build in in the skirt. I still think every Designer can avoid these kind of problems

Hot 'n fun well at least that's what summer should be like,though sometimes it's nothing but hot for me LOL no fun at all...
